Sauce for Skin, a natural, fun, handmade skin and bath product line is making Kelowna saucy starting Wednesday June 24th, 2015.
After a decade spent as a successful securities lawyer, Lesley sought a change of pace and she completely changed the outlook of her life when she dove into her passions and started Sauce for Skin.
Sauce for Skin is created from natural materials to support your skin with the nutrients it needs to be soft, smooth, and healthy. Products like Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil are some common ingredients within this signature line of lotions, scrubs, and balms. The idea for the product surfaced when Lesley noticed a gap in the market for lotion, specifically baby lotions. Most lotions were either too expensive or would inevitably be discontinued. Lesley sought to create her own product that would relieve not only her own, but her children’s sensitive skin.
“My husband and I always referred to our routine of putting lotion on our twins after their baths as “saucing them up”.” said Hobden. “We would routinely ask the little rascals to “get over here and let me sauce you up”. It just seemed natural to name the company after what really got me interested in researching more natural skin alternatives.”
You can find Sauce for Skin at the Kelowna Farmers Market on Wednesdays and certain Saturdays, at select wholesalers, at the Bellies to Babies Celebration in Vancouver on October 4, 2105 and at www.sauceforskin.com.
